Glucose Test

So I'm 24 weeks along now (that means 6 months), so that means it's time for the Glucose Test.  I have to admit that I was rather pessimistic about the test results, I mean everything else with the pregnancy has had some sort of complication.  When I woke up the morning of my appointment, I took my thyroid medication, and then about an hour later I chugged down one of those ensure shakes, and then chugged down the "Glucola Drink" the doctors office gave me.  You know what, it wasn't half bad.  I did get a little of a brain freeze, but it wasn't nearly as nasty as the nurses made it out to be.  Now here's where it gets interesting....
I get to the doctors office only to find out that they can't access my chart because someone had changed Baby Girl's due date to May 2nd, 2102 instead of May 2nd, 2012.  So until they fix my chart my appointment was completely pointless. They tried to get baby's heart-rate, but she was too squirmy to get a good reading, which isn't a bad thing. They still took my blood and did the urine analysis.
It appears as though they were able to get my chart fixed because I got my glucose tests results back, and finally something has come back normal.  No Gestational Diabetes for me! YAY!
